back with the boys

Tonight the boys will play a little festival near Vienna and after months of tour withdrawals I'm back with the team :) Cheers all around!
I'm back in Vienna for a couple days after an amazing time in Salzburg, lots of pics and funny stories to come. Feel like I need to detox for the next week from all the partying and sleep depravation :)

my glorious - tap tap revenge

The boys, well their music is featured in a game for smartphones and the ipad. They made a few videos for it but this one's my favourite.

I remember filming this last year when we were playing in Vienna with the lovely JJs. The very last scene is my favourite and not because I walk out of an elevator but because of what happens next haha
Anyway they are back in Germany this weekend playing Open Flair in Eschwege.

Well we've had our ups and downs with that particular city and its crowd but Friday night turned out to be fantastic... almost reconciled with that city huzzah!

a Minefield holiday

 It all started off with a stuffed up car... could have totally gone the wrong way but thank God for road assistance and rental cars. A couple hours later we arrived in Muenster and were greeted by two of Germany's best people :) Hooray for amazing friends who open their home to a group of 6 and a half people!

Minefield Tour day 19

Jena
Every time we've passed this city, driving from who-knows-where to cant-remember, all we've seen was horrible housing estates. What a surprise to find a nice town behind the concrete jungle :)
It was a fine evening with a great crowd and a fun support act.
Only drawback: eating soup and going into lactose shock.
FYI after weeks on tour Raffi and I have started a campaign "stop the bread". If you're sick of feeling tired and bloated all day from eating too much bread, come and join us haha

Hildesheim
Another student club, another dance party NOT.
For two songs Raffi, Bianca and I danced around like crazy people with everyone else watching and being way too cool to even twitch... Oh the freedom to know you'll never see these people again haha

Hannover
What can I say, the crowd was fun - killer front row haha - spirits were up and some of us danced the night away into the wee hours. A night to remember :)

Bremen

Fourth time in twelve months is not a bad statistic if you ask me. Feels like I'm making up for all the years I've never been up here :)

Anyways, it was a revisit to the "concrete ship" MS Treue... the lamps were swaying and Bianca was getting nervous. Let's call it an interesting night - nice to catch up with friends but as there were two bands that played before everything started really late and we were all extremely tired when the boys started. Needless to say it was exhausting and we were ready for a few days off. Happy days!

Minefield Tour day 15

Mainz!

It was a beautiful day: we roamed the streets of Frankfurt, had the worlds most amazing breakfast at Lokalbahnhof, I got a quick cut and treatment at the cutest hair salon - Liebesdienste Hair Coffee Shop (highly recommended), quick drive to Mainz, the crowd was fun (two lovely people returned for a full show, after they'd seen the boys in Bayreuth, singing along to every song - total legends!), Thai food with team supreme as the musical trio were being interviewed but my favourite thing was catching up with an old college friend and her husband :) Told you I'm spoilt rotten with meeting friends on this tour, huzzah!

Frankfurt

 went for a walk along the river before we headed over to Frankfurt.
